This achievement marks Mamaearth’s attainment of plastic neutrality, showcasing a commitment to sustainable practices.
GEM Enviro’s proactive strategy involves the nationwide collection of Rigid, Flexible, and MLP plastic waste for Mamaearth. This collaboration directs the gathered plastic to registered Plastic Waste Processing Facilities, steering it away from initial collection points to mitigate the harmful impact on oceans and landfills. The initiative aligns with a circular economy mindset to address the plastic waste crisis.
To complement recycling efforts, GEM Enviro has conducted over 100 sustainability awareness activities.
