Shibin Chulliparambil has been appointed Head of Information Technology (IT) at Malabar Group, the parent company of Malabar Gold & Diamonds. His appointment strengthens the group’s digital leadership, with responsibility for driving end-to-end IT strategy and managing technology operations across Malabar’s multiple business verticals.
Bringing nearly 12 years of experience—including stints as CIO at Mafatlal Industries and CEO of Vrata Tech Solutions—Chulliparambil specialises in enterprise transformation, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital road-mapping. At Mafatlal, he not only drove the IT roadmap but also advised the group leadership on advancing its digital agenda.
Tasked with steering digital transformation across Malabar’s wide-ranging ecosystem (ranging from jewelry retail to real estate, watches, electronics, and beyond), Chulliparambil will focus on building stronger cybersecurity, scalable IT infrastructure, and seamless digital touchpoints to elevate both back-end operations and customer experience.
