Lifestyle fashion brand CHK launches debut sneaker collection

Footwear-first lifestyle brand CHK has unveiled its debut sneaker collection, designed specifically for millennials and Gen Z who seek sneakers that showcase their distinct style and individuality.

The debut release featuring 35 sneaker styles, will be available to purchase on the brand’s e-commerce website. It captures the diverse personalities, lifestyles, and fashion expressions of young Indians, offering four distinct collections: Brat, Legend, Retro, and City Hopper.

“We’re offering young Indians a new language of self-expression through our sneakers with four collections offering a perfect blend modern trends with enduring style,” said Deepan Babu, Co-founder of CHK.

Founded in 2024, CHK offers an extensive and ever-evolving range of trendsetting styles. Proudly ‘Made in India’, the brand designs its footwear in Bangalore which are then manufactured in its facility in Tamil Nadu. Every CHK pair is conceptualised, developed, and manufactured in-house, allowing the brand to rapidly prototype, refine, and launch new styles without sacrificing quality or agility.

Innovative features of the brand include: size-adjusting insoles for a customised fit, proprietary dirt-repelling coating, and lightweight materials for superior comfort.

CHK was Co-founded by Sankar Bora, former Co-founder of Myntra and DealShare, Deepan Babu (ex-McKinsey), Bharat Mahajan (ex-Wildcraft, Puma, Adidas), and Deepak Patil (ex-Myntra, Cure.fit). Both Bharat and Deepak are alumni of the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), underscoring the brand’s design-led DNA.

Earlier this year, CHK announced a successful seed funding round of US$2.5 million led by Accel and BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle.
