Lenskart partners with Labubu-maker POP MART for its first India fashion collab

Eyewear retailer Lenskart has partnered with Chinese collectibles company POP MART to launch a limited-edition eyewear range in India, marking the toy giant’s first official fashion collaboration in the country.

The collection, inspired by POP MART’s Sweet Bean ‘I Want A Hug’ character series, comprises 21 styles of eyeglasses and sunglasses. Prices start at Rs 3,000, with the range available across 1,000 Lenskart stores nationwide and on Lenskart.com from June 1, 2026.

The launch was unveiled at an event in Gurgaon on June 20, fronted by actor Jhanvi Kapoor.

Frames feature Sweet Bean character artwork, star-and-heart accents and Sweet Bean branding on the temples. Purchases of Lenskart’s Bitz frames include Sweet Bean-themed magnetic charms packaged in blind packets — a format central to POP MART’s business model — which can be attached to compatible frames.

POP MART is best known internationally for its blind-box collectibles and the viral Labubu character. The India collaboration follows similar Lenskart x POP MART launches in Singapore and Thailand.

Speaking on the launch, Peyush Bansal, Co-founder & CEO, Lenskart, said, “POP MART is a global phenomenon that has defined the fashion trends of a generation. With this collaboration, we are officially bringing this cultural statement to India for the first time in history, and this partnership is only just the beginning.”

Founded in 2010, Lenskart operates over 2,500 stores in India and more than 3,000 globally. The company completed its IPO in November 2025.
