Lee Cooper expands beyond apparel, launches grooming line in India

British lifestyle brand Lee Cooper has launched a grooming and fragrance range in India, marking its first foray into personal care after more than a century of building its reputation in denim and apparel.

The collection, called Lee Cooper Grooming, debuted exclusively on Amazon India during the platform’s Prime Day sale. It will remain exclusive to Amazon for an extended period before expanding to other online marketplaces, the brand’s own direct-to-consumer website, and offline retail stores in time for the festive season.

The range is organised around three fragrance lines — London, Oxford, and Imperial — each meant to evoke a different facet of British character. London is built around clean, aquatic notes for daily wear; Oxford leans on deeper, musky tones aimed at conveying confidence; and Imperial uses oud-based accords positioned for more formal or elevated occasions.

Each fragrance line spans a full grooming set, including an Eau de Parfum, premium body sprays, shower gels, and Grade 1 soaps, allowing customers to layer the same scent across multiple products in a daily routine. The company said the Eau de Parfum contains up to 20% perfume concentration for longer-lasting wear.

On pricing, the 100ml Eau de Parfum carries a regular price of Rs 1,499, discounted to Rs 999 for the Prime Day launch window. Body sprays, shower gels, and soaps are priced lower, which the company said is intended to make the range accessible to a broader set of buyers rather than positioning it purely as a luxury product.

With the launch, Lee Cooper is aiming to sit between mass-market grooming brands and premium fragrance houses, betting that its existing recognition as an apparel and footwear label will help it compete in India’s expanding grooming and fragrance category.
