Self-care brand Kimirica has opened a new boutique at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport, its sixth store overall and its first location inside an airport.
The outlet, located at Shop Number R-16 near Gate No. 7 in the departure terminal, stocks the brand’s perfumes, gifting products, bath and body items, travel-sized ranges, and home fragrances.
A key feature of the store is a sensory pod that lets customers experience the brand’s Perfum line through sight, sound, and scent, organised around a set of fragrance-themed ‘destinations.’
Kimirica was founded in Indore in 2012 as a vegan-formulation, fragrance-led self-care brand. It has since partnered with more than 10,000 hotels globally, a channel through which many consumers first encountered the brand before it began opening standalone stores.
The company continues to manufacture its products in Indore and says it follows a ‘Procure Within 100’ policy, sourcing materials and labour from within the region.
In a statement, the company described the airport launch as reflective of its origins, noting that the brand was built in Indore and continues to operate from the city even as its retail and hospitality partnerships have expanded internationally.
Kimirica said travel retail is an area of focus as it continues to expand its store network across India.
