Nykaa, India’s leading beauty and lifestyle retailer, has taken Indian beauty global with the UK launch of Kay Beauty, co-founded with actor Katrina Kaif. The brand debuted exclusively at Space NK, marking the first time an Indian-founded beauty brand has entered the UK’s premier luxury beauty retailer.
The milestone was celebrated at an exclusive soirée at George Club, Mayfair, London, hosted by Nykaa’s leadership including Falguni Nayar, Executive Chairperson, MD & CEO; Adwaita Nayar, Co-founder & CEO of House of Nykaa and Nykaa Fashion; and Anchit Nayar, CEO of Nykaa Beauty. The event brought together senior beauty executives, cultural leaders, and dignitaries, including officials from the Indian High Commission, Margaret Mitchell, CCO of Space NK, and global partners such as Estée Lauder, Unilever Prestige, Puig, and Charlotte Tilbury.
The celebration followed a September 9th launch at Space NK, featuring a masterclass by celebrity makeup artist Daniel Bauer and a showcase of Kay Beauty’s bestselling products.
Launched in 2019, Kay Beauty has grown into India’s largest celebrity-led beauty brand, serving over 2.5 million customers and retailing across 700+ premium stores. Known for its high-performance formulations with skin-loving ingredients, the brand has also gained traction in the GCC, where it ranks among the top five makeup brands on Nykaa’s platform Nysaa.
