PUMA India has announced that Karthik Balagopalan has stepped down from his position as Managing Director to focus on family priorities in Germany. The company said it will officially announce his successor soon.
Balagopalan has been associated with PUMA for over 18 years, holding multiple leadership roles across markets. Before taking charge of the India business in August 2023, he served as Global Director – Retail and E-Commerce at PUMA SE in Germany, where he led several strategic retail and digital initiatives.
He has previously held roles in retail operations, business development, and growth market management within the company, contributing to PUMA’s global retail expansion.
