Italian sportswear brand Lotto enters India via Agilitas Sports

Italian sportswear brand Lotto has officially stepped into the Indian market with bold ambitions. Brought in by Agilitas Sports, India’s fastest-growing sportswear platform, Lotto is aiming to build a Rs 1,000 crore brand in the country within 5 years.

The brand launch is backed by cricket stars Yuvraj Singh and Abhishek Sharma, who feature in a light-hearted campaign film that captures Lotto’s expressive, stylish, and fun personality. The film playfully showcases the duo attempting to pronounce the Italian phrase “Lotto è un marchio di eredità italiana,” meaning “Lotto is a brand of Italian heritage.”

Abhishek Ganguly, Co-founder & CEO, Agilitas Sports said, “This isn’t just a market entry—it’s the start of building a brand fuelled by ambition and strong category dominance. Lotto has global legacy, but we’re shaping it for modern India. The launch content is unfiltered and unscripted because that’s how we plan to build this brand: with authenticity, intrigue and fun.”

Yuvraj Singh’s association with the founding team and Abhishek Ganguly dates back to 2011. He is a friend and an early investor of the company.

“Lotto’s vibe is different—it’s expressive, stylish, and unapologetically fun. That’s what drew me in. As an athlete and entrepreneur, I want to back brands with soul. And this is only the start, with a very exciting YWC x Lotto collab coming soon,” Singh adds.

Lotto’s India journey begins with Lotto Leggenda—a premium sneaker line inspired by vintage Italian designs from the ’70s to ’90s. Designed in Italy and manufactured in India at Agilitas-acquired Mochiko Shoes, Leggenda will be the first of several product drops.

Agilitas holds exclusive rights to Lotto across India, South Africa, and Australia. In the coming year, the brand will expand into apparel, sportswear, and accessories.
