Gargi enters Punjab, opens new Pune kiosk in twin expansion push

Fashion jewellery brand Gargi by P.N. Gadgil & Sons today announced its expansion into Punjab with its first store at Nexus MBD Neopolis Mall in Ludhiana. In a twin expansion push, the brand has also launched a new kiosk at Grand Highstreet Mall in Hinjewadi, Pune — its second outlet in the city’s IT corridor.

The Ludhiana store, located on the lower ground floor of the Ferozepur Road mall, opened on March 1. The Hinjewadi kiosk had opened earlier in February. Together, they take Gargi’s offline store count to over 36 across India.

The Ludhiana entry marks the BSE-listed brand’s first foray into Punjab. Nexus MBD Neopolis, which spans over 8 lakh sq. ft. and counts Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Armani Exchange among its tenants, is among the city’s premium retail addresses.

The Hinjewadi kiosk is situated at Grand Highstreet, a 2.25 lakh sq. ft. open-format mall anchored by Lifestyle, Westside and Pantaloons, catering to the area’s large base of IT professionals.

“Hinjewadi and Ludhiana are very different cities with very different energy — and that is exactly why we chose them. One is building India’s digital future; the other is one of the country’s most powerful trading communities. In both, we found women who know precisely what they want, who dress intentionally, and who have been underserved by the options available to them in fashion jewellery. Gargi exists for them — and these two stores are our way of saying, we see you,” said Aditya Modak, Co-Founder, Gargi by P.N. Gadgil & Sons.

Launched in 2021 as part of the P.N. Gadgil & Sons portfolio, Gargi sells sterling silver, brass and diamond jewellery across price points, with a catalogue of approximately one million designs. Its bridal sub-brand, Utsaav by Gargi, targets the wedding segment. The brand has grown rapidly since its BSE listing.
