Fashion designer Ravi Bajaj debuted his latest label, AURUM, at a fashion show at DLF Emporio, Vasant Kunj. In partnership with T&T Motors, the collection focuses on redefining wedding wear by blending traditional elegance with contemporary design elements.
The name AURUM, derived from Latin for gold, Sanskrit for nectar (Amrit), and Urdu for gold thread (zar), reflects the collection’s focus on luxury and cultural significance. Showcased alongside jewellery from Rose, the official jewellery partner, the collection highlights Ravi Bajaj’s craftsmanship across menswear and womenswear.
Commenting on the launch, Ravi Bajaj said, “AURUM is a comprehensive wedding wear label. We’re catering to the entire wedding celebration, from Mehndi to the grand reception, with stylish and elegant options for every occasion. Our ‘Sufi Nights’ collection is a prime example of our commitment to diverse themes.”
The collection introduces innovative designs, incorporating lace, organza, and pearls into menswear. Womenswear features lehengas, 1920s-inspired “Flapper” evening gowns, and the designer’s iconic sarees reimagined with added opulence.
