Sporting goods retailer Decathlon has launched the fourth edition of its ‘Take A Breath’ initiative in celebration of International Yoga Day. This initiative aims to promote yoga practice and support the unique needs of Indian yoga practitioners through specialised products and equipment.

Our expanding and comprehensive range of yoga products including apparel, accessories, and mats is a testament to this spirit as DECATHLON becomes the one-stop solution for all yoga needs,’’ Rojith John, Yoga Leader, DECATHLON India said.
Reports indicate that around 150 million individuals engage in yoga, with over 67% of Indian enthusiasts choosing to practice at home. To support these practitioners, Decathlon is focused on developing products tailored to the Indian market.
As part of this effort, Decathlon unveiled a new line of women’s yoga wear, including the Kurti T-shirt and Dhoti Yoga Bottoms. These products are designed to blend traditional aesthetics with modern functionality. The Kurti T-shirt offers ease of movement and breathability, while the Dhoti Yoga Bottoms provide comfort with a relaxed fit and flexible fabric.
Decathlon will host over 300 yoga sessions across more than 100 stores nationwide on International Yoga Day. Following the success of the third edition of the ‘Take A Breath’ initiative in 2023, which saw participation from over 21,000 people, Decathlon aims to engage over 25,000 individuals this year.
