Culture Circle, a platform specialising in authenticated luxury fashion, recently appeared on Shark Tank India and accepted a strategic investment of ₹3 crores for 3% equity from Kunal Bahl, co-founder of Snapdeal, and Ritesh Agarwal, founder of OYO.
The platform had also received the highest-ever offer in the Shark Tank India’s history—₹8 crores—but opted for the strategic deal.
Founded in 2023 by Devansh Jain Nawal and Ackshay Jain, Culture Circle caters to Gen Z consumers with a focus on verified sneakers, streetwear, and luxury fashion at competitive prices. The company utilises its proprietary AI-driven authentication system, SourceX, to ensure product authenticity through a five-step verification process.
Culture Circle has achieved significant growth within 11 months, attracting over one million monthly users and amassing a social media following of 190,000. Supported by Info Edge Ventures, the platform offers a ‘compare and shop’ feature that allows users to access deals from globally verified sellers.
Its catalogue includes brands such as Nike, Adidas, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Supreme, with offerings extending to sneakers, handbags, sunglasses, and apparel.
The founders, aged 26, highlighted plans to expand Culture Circle’s offline presence across India and venture into global markets, starting with the UAE.
