Converse, in partnership with Bhaane Group, has opened its first-ever store in Kolkata at South City Mall. This move not only marks the brand’s foray into the City of Joy but also deepens its presence across India, particularly in the East.
The new store at South City Mall is a space designed to allow consumers explore the brand at their own pace. It brings together Converse’s classic styles, including the Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70, alongside newer expressions of the brand such as Chuck Taylor Lo’s, All Star Classic Suede, the Omega Trainers and more.
At its core, the Kolkata store reflects Converse’s larger focus on strengthening its footprint in India. The brand intends to grow while staying true to its cultural DNA and creating experience-led retail spaces.
