CMAI kicks off the 3rd North India Garment Fair 2025 in New Delhi

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has kicked off the third edition of the North India Garment Fair (NIGF 2025) at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center (IICC), Dwarka. Scheduled from November 25 to 27, the fair brings together over 125 exhibitors spanning menswear, womenswear, and kidswear, with the aim of strengthening apparel trade across the northern market.

The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of leading retailers including Abhishek Gupta (Gupta Creations, New Delhi), Naman Narang (Narang Garments, New Delhi), Ravindra Arora (Ravi Exclusif & Janaab, Amritsar), Alok & Heramb Aggarwal (A to Z Kids House, Hisar) and Laxmikant Biyani (Sagar, Sikar), among others.

Top CMAI leadership—Santosh Katariya (President), Rohit Munjal (Vice President), Naveen Sainani (Hon. Gen. Secretary), Mukesh Jain (Hon. Jt. Gen. Secretary & Chairman, NIGF), Jagdish Harwani (Jt. Chairman, NIGF), Anand Chokshi (Member, NIGF), Pankaj Jain (Hon. Regional Secretary, Delhi) and Rahul Mehta (Chief Mentor)—were also present, underscoring the industry’s support for the event.

Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said, “NIGF 2025 aims to harness the immense potential of the Northern market, offering a dynamic platform for exhibitors to engage with buyers, discover new brands, and build strong business partnerships. Further, with an expected attendance of over 5,000 trade visitors, the fair will serve as a powerful networking hub for connecting buyers from across India with industry frontrunners.”

The fair is showcasing a wide mix of brands such as Watcher Shirts, Denis Parkar, Stil-O-Stitch, Scakhi, Juniper, Little Kangaroo, and Kittens, with participation from major manufacturing clusters including Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Tirupur, Ludhiana, Kolkata, and Delhi-NCR. Retailers from across India are expected to attend, making NIGF 2025 a key event for seasonal buying and business sourcing.

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) is the representative association of the Indian apparel industry having over 7,000 members and serving more than 50,000 Retailers. Its Membership consists of Manufacturers, Exporters, Brands, and ancillary industry.

CMAI advocates regarding policies and also guides and encourages its members on ESG related matters and initiatives. In 2019, CMAI launched the SU.RE initiative to encourage members to embrace sustainability.
