Campus Activewear Limited has appointed Uplaksh Tewary as its Chief Operating Officer, as announced by Tewary on social media on Sunday. Tewary, who has been with the footwear major for over six years, steps into the role after serving as Chief Business Officer since May 2024.
In his new capacity, Tewary will lead supply chain, planning, warehousing, logistics, purchase, and IT & technology along with the revenue mandate.
“A heartfelt thank you to our leadership for the trust placed in me, to colleagues across functions whose partnership has shaped every win along the way, and to the incredible teams and partners who bring energy and excellence to the work every day. I am lucky to be on this journey with you,” he wrote on LinkedIn announcing the promotion.
Tewary brings nearly 17 years of experience in the sportswear and retail sector to the role. Before joining Campus Activewear in 2020 as Country Head for Retail and Key Accounts, he spent close to six years at Adidas, where he headed over 150 mono-branded Adidas and Reebok stores across South India and later led the Reebok Performance business unit across emerging markets.
Prior to Adidas, he held a zonal sales management role at Puma, overseeing wholesale and retail channels across East India and export markets including Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. He began his career at Titan Industries, where he worked across retail operations, brand management, and sales in both southern and eastern India.
“The road ahead is about building an operating engine that matches the ambition of the brand. To an exciting new phase!” he concluded.
