Womenswear brand BIBA Fashion Ltd has announced the appointment of Ujjawal Kothari as its new Head – E-Commerce & Digital Business, as the fashion retailer looks to strengthen its digital and e-commerce operations.
Kothari brings over a decade of experience in e-commerce, having built his career across D2C platforms, omnichannel strategy, marketplace management, and quick commerce.
He joins BIBA from Iconic Fashion India, where he spent close to seven years, most recently as Vice President – eCommerce & Digital Business and, before that, AVP – eCommerce & Social Media for brands including Gant and True Religion. In that role, he led D2C growth for gant.in and iconicindia.com, drove omnichannel initiatives to unify online and offline customer experiences, and managed marketplace operations across platforms such as Myntra, Ajio, and Tata Luxury. He also previously served as Head of Ecommerce at the company, overseeing brands including Gant, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Selected, Nautica, Antony Morato, Bugatti, and Ben Sherman.
Prior to Iconic Fashion, Kothari spent more than seven years at Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd, rising from Manager – Ecommerce to Senior Manager and eventually Assistant General Manager – Ecommerce, based in Gurugram. He began his career in e-commerce and CRM at Capillary Technologies, working on customer relationship management and analytics solutions.
Kothari holds an MBA in Marketing from Phoenix International Business School, where he also served two terms as President of the Marketing Club, and a B.Com from M.L.S. University.
