Actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam has stepped into the fragrance business with the launch of Sarkar, a new unisex perfume house. The brand, developed quietly over nearly three years, is co-founded alongside Neel Gogia, Rohit Raj and Jag Chima.
Sarkar positions itself between mass-market body sprays and high-priced niche perfumery, offering high-concentration parfums at what the founders describe as accessible price points.
A Gap in the Market
The four co-founders say Sarkar was built to address a divide in India’s fragrance market — one split between products made for scale and those made for exclusivity. Priced between Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000, the debut collection is pitched as premium without the markup typically associated with niche luxury brands, giving consumers 25% oil concentration perfumes, a strength usually reserved for higher-end offerings.
The Debut Collection
Sarkar’s first lineup consists of four fragrances — Orion, Noble, Throne and Regal — each intended to reflect a different mood, personality and occasion while remaining part of a cohesive brand identity. Three of the four scents, Orion, Noble and Throne, were formulated in France, while Regal was developed in Spain. All products are IFRA-compliant and cruelty-free, according to the brand.
Founders on the Vision
Bhuvan Bam, Actor & Creator, Co-Founder, Sarkar said, “Sarkar was never about creating a fragrance brand for a moment. It was about building a brand with a distinct identity and a long-term vision. Fragrance has always been a powerful form of expression, and we wanted to create something that people connect with because of what it represents. Every decision, from the brand identity to the fragrances themselves, has been shaped by patience, intention and attention to detail.”
His co-founders echoed that sentiment.
“For years, the fragrance market has largely been defined by two ends of the spectrum—products built for scale and products built for exclusivity. We felt there was room for a fragrance house that could bridge that gap without compromising on quality, formulation or experience. Sarkar has been built with a long-term vision, where the product leads every decision. Our ambition isn’t simply to launch a brand, but to build one that earns lasting consumer trust through consistency, craftsmanship and thoughtful innovation,” said Neel Gogia, Co-Founder of IPLIX Media, Layers and Sarkar.

The Sarkar collection is now live on the brand’s official website as well as on Amazon and Flipkart, marking the company’s entry into India’s competitive premium fragrance segment.
