Being Human Clothing has opened its latest retail store in Delhi, bringing a space that merges fashion with social purpose. Located in one of the capital’s premium retail hubs, the new store marks a significant addition to the brand’s growing retail footprint in India.
The store design takes inspiration from the ‘Bird’s Nest’ philosophy—symbolising warmth, creativity, and sustainability. This theme is expressed through the use of recycled elements, organic textures, and nature-inspired hues throughout the space. From the 40-foot-long monochrome façade to the soft, ambient lighting, the design aims to create an earthy and immersive shopping environment.
The store layout is structured around four key elements: the Façade, the Shell, Product Display, and an Engagement Zone. The Shell mimics the interior of a bird’s nest with calming neutral tones and textured surfaces, intended to create a grounded atmosphere. Product displays span from floor-to-floor and floor-to-wall, constructed from recycled materials to align with the sustainability focus.
Central to the store is the Engagement Zone, a dedicated space for denim. This area also features a charity display that highlights the work of Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation, which supports healthcare and education for underserved communities. Storytelling elements and decals throughout the store communicate the foundation’s impact and encourage shopper participation in its initiatives.
