Arvind Ltd., a textile-to-retail conglomerate and a denim pioneer, today announced the appointment of Rajarshi Ghosh as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its Denim business. In this role, Ghosh will lead the business agenda to accelerate profitable growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and scale digital adoption across the denim value chain, while fostering a performance-driven culture across teams.

Rajarshi brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in the textile industry, spanning business transformation, operational excellence and innovation across large manufacturing ecosystems. He began his career at Arvind as a Management Trainee and built a 25-year track record across Quality, Innovation and Operations.
Before this appointment, Ghosh was COO at Jindal Worldwide Ltd. He led operations and supply chain across Denim, Shirting and Bottom Weights. He earlier held leadership roles at Welspun, including President & Business Head at Welspun Living and SVP at Welspun Flooring. In these roles, he led business performance, greenfield scale-up, and productivity programs.
Ghosh holds an M.Tech in Textile Engineering from IIT Delhi and a B.Tech in Textile Technology from the University of Calcutta.
