Apparel Group enters into a multi-brand licensing agreement with Marquee Brands

Dubai-based global fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate Apparel Group has entered into a multi-brand licensing agreement with Manhattan-based Marquee Brands to cover five of its renowned brands; BCBG, Ben Sherman, Bruno Magli, Sur la table and Martha Stewart, across the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) and India regions, the company announced on social media last week.

“This strategic partnership underscores our commitment to expanding our retail footprint and providing our valued customers with exceptional shopping experiences that exceed expectations every day,” Apparel Group said in a LinkedIn post.

The move symbolizes both companies’ ambition to fulfill increasing demand for not only luxury but also contemporary goods in these regions, offering consumers a wider spectrum of choices and styles, according to a media website.

“It’s not every day that one unlocks a market with almost 1.5 billion consumers and an aggregate GDP of US$5+ trillion. The retail concepts that debut in the region across #BCBG, #BenSherman, #BrunoMagli, #MarthaStewart and #Surlatable will be game changing,” Heath Golden, President, Marquee Brands said in a LinkedIn post.
