ABLBL appoints Jaskaran Bir Singh as Business Head for Simon Carter

Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited has appointed Jaskaran Bir Singh as Business Head for Simon Carter, marking a strategic leadership appointment for the British menswear label’s India operations.

In his new role, Singh will lead Simon Carter’s business in India across all sales channels. His mandate spans brand strategy, design, product development, buying and merchandising, retail operations and marketing — indicating a full-stack leadership charter aimed at accelerating the brand’s growth in the Indian market.

Singh transitions into the role after nearly five years with Myntra and the Flipkart Group, where he held multiple leadership positions across licensing, brand management and strategic initiatives. Most recently, he served as Associate Director – Chief of Staff, leading strategic projects for Myntra’s House of Brands, with a focus on monetisation, growth and cross-border expansion.

During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in bringing several global brands to India through the licensing route, including French Connection (FCUK), Kenneth Cole, bebe, Justice and Slazenger. He led the 0–1 journey for select license brands across online and offline channels, managing portfolio P&L and revenue growth.

Prior to Myntra, Singh was associated with Flipkart, where he led business development initiatives within the licensing vertical.

He began his fashion retail career with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., where he held multiple roles across retail operations and product management for Van Heusen.

With a strong background spanning retail operations, product management, licensing, P&L leadership and brand building, Singh’s appointment signals a focused push to strengthen Simon Carter’s positioning and scale in India’s premium menswear segment.
