Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail’s Gen-Z fashion brand OWND! has opened its first stores in Mumbai, marking the label’s 75th retail location in India. The expansion into India’s commercial and cultural capital signals an accelerating growth push for the value fashion brand, which targets young, trend-conscious consumers.
The brand launched two stores simultaneously — at Infiniti Mall in Malad and R-Mall in Thane — spanning 5,900 square feet and 7,600 square feet respectively. The openings were accompanied by a launch event featuring Adarsh Gourav, known for his role in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, as the showstopper for a fashion showcase.
The Mumbai entry is significant for OWND!, given the city’s outsized influence on youth culture and retail trends in India.
