Contemporary luxury handbag brand AKIKI London has launched a new Dog Charm collection, turning its mascot Kiki into a range of accessories that can be clipped, looped or carried alongside a bag.
Kiki, whose playful personality has long been part of the brand’s identity, now leaves the handbag and joins the wearer’s everyday style. The charms can be attached to a handbag, threaded through a zip, fixed to luggage or used as a keychain. The brand says they are designed to be mixed, matched and layered, so that an everyday accessory becomes more personal.
The collection comprises seven SKUs across four characters: Kiki, Beanie, Alfie and Russell. Each offers its own take on the dog-inspired theme. Prices start at Rs 599.
The charms are currently available at AKIKI stores at Summit Plaza Mall, Gurugram; Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla; R City Mall, Ghatkopar; T2 Departure, Mumbai; Lulu Mall, Lucknow; and Mall of India, Noida.
With the festive and travel season approaching, AKIKI is positioning the charms as more than an accessory. Shoppers can add one to a favourite handbag for a celebration, personalise luggage for a weekend getaway, or give one as a gift to a dog lover. The brand describes them as tiny travel companions.
The launch, the brand says, reflects its approach to accessories: that fashion doesn’t always have to be serious, and that a little personality hanging from a handbag can be enough to make a look one’s own.
