Reliance Retail has appointed Manuj Bansal as Vice President, Head of Supply Chain for its Beauty business, effective August 2026.
In the new role, based in Bengaluru, Bansal will work closely with the business to build a competitive, agile, and sustainable supply chain as the company looks to strengthen its position in the fast-growing omnichannel beauty segment through a strong product portfolio and improved customer experience.
Bansal joins Reliance Retail after more than five years at Flipkart, where he most recently served as National Head of Large Appliances Supply Chain.
During his tenure there, he led a team of over 1,800 employees and was credited with rolling out two-hour delivery and installation in 16 cities — a first for the industry — while also cutting cost-to-serve by 6% and expanding the fulfillment network with 13 new centers, all within a six-month period.
Earlier in his Flipkart career, he held several senior roles overseeing last-mile operations, network design, and cost transformation across the grocery and large appliances businesses.
Before Flipkart, Bansal spent over 11 years at Unilever (Hindustan Unilever), where his roles spanned factory leadership, network optimization, transportation and logistics, customer service, and demand planning.
He holds an MBA in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai.
