Welspun World has promoted Khyati Shahh to the newly expanded role of President – Group Corporate Communications, as announced via a LinkedIn post from Khyati on Tuesday.
Khyati, who has served as the conglomerate’s Chief Marketing Officer since August 2023, will now additionally oversee the group’s corporate communications function, consolidating brand, marketing and communications strategy under one leadership mandate.
In her announcement, Khyati expressed gratitude to Welspun World Chairman B.K. Goenka and Managing Director Dipali Goenka for their mentorship and support, and credited her team for their contribution to the milestone. She also reflected on her broader journey with the Welspun Group.
Khyati’s association with Welspun dates back to October 2021, when she joined as Vice President, Group Corporate Communications, moving up to CMO less than two years later.
With over two decades of experience spanning advertising, media and B2B marketing, her career has included senior leadership roles at India Today Group, Star TV Network, Dainik Bhaskar Group, International Flavors & Fragrances, Grey Group, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Ogilvy.
At Welspun World, Khyati has been responsible for driving brand and digital marketing strategy across the group’s businesses, with a focus on brand management, content marketing, digital campaigns and public relations.
Her expanded role is expected to bring greater alignment between the group’s external communications and marketing functions as Welspun World continues to scale its brand presence.
