Bengaluru-based athleisure brand BlissClub has raised Rs 160 crore in a funding round led by Singularity AMC, an India-focused alternative asset manager known for backing high-growth businesses across sectors.
Founder Minu Margeret and her partner Vidit Aatrey also put in significant personal capital as part of the round, while existing investors Elevation Capital and Eight Roads Ventures increased their commitments to the company.
The fresh capital will be deployed to expand BlissClub’s product categories, accelerate its offline retail footprint, strengthen product development, and hire talent as the company enters its next phase of growth.
Founded in 2020, BlissClub set out to design activewear specifically for Indian women, aiming to fill what it identified as a gap in apparel suited to Indian body types, weather conditions and price points. Over the past five years, the brand has grown into an omnichannel lifestyle player with more than 40 stores across the country, alongside sales through its own digital channels and online marketplaces.
Earlier this year, the company also forayed into menswear, widening its addressable market.
BlissClub said its revenue has grown more than 60% year-on-year over the past two years. “We believe active lifestyle apparel is increasingly becoming a staple of everyday wardrobes, and BlissClub’s deep product R&D and sourcing capabilities give us a unique right to win in this category,” said BlissClub founder Minu Margeret. “This round allows us to double down on that vision — investing further in product innovation, expanding our offline presence, and bringing BlissClub to many more consumers across the country.”
