Footwear brand Melissa and fashion label Diesel have launched round two of their collaboration, this time adding a bag to the mix for the first time.
The new drop brings back three shoe styles from last year’s debut — the Quantum Thong Flip Flop, Quantum Platform, and Quantum Sneaker — now in four new colors: metallic silver, transparent green, navy, and black. The brands also widened the size range.
The headline addition is the Quantum Dome Bag, the first non-footwear item to come out of the partnership. It’s built with the same curved, structural look as the shoes, keeping the collection visually consistent.
Both brands say the designs draw on parametric design and optical art, turning sharp geometric ideas into wearable, sculptural shapes. Diesel’s “D” logo shows up across the pieces as the collection’s signature mark.
The shoes go on sale at diesel.com, shopmelissa.com, and in select stores for both brands. The bag will be online-only.
Melissa was founded in 1979 by Brazil’s Grendene group and now sells in more than 60 countries. Past collaborators include Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Y/Project, Comme des Garçons, Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, architect Zaha Hadid, and the Campana Brothers.
