The Kothari Group, a jewellery manufacturer and exporter with more than 35 years of experience, has entered India’s retail jewellery market with the launch of Keemti, a lab-grown diamond jewellery brand founded by Armaan Sunil Kothari.
The brand has opened its first flagship store in Mumbai’s Andheri area, marking its retail debut. The venture is backed by entrepreneur and investor Nikhil Kamath and entrepreneur-investor Kavin Shah.
Located on Link Road near Infiniti Mall, the store was inaugurated by Amruta Fadnavis and Kamath in the presence of Armaan Kothari, Founder and Managing Director of Keemti, and Sunil Kothari, Chairman of the company. The launch event was attended by guests including Jackie Shroff, Stebin Ben, Seema Singh and Varun Sharma.
Keemti’s product portfolio includes everyday wear, occasion-focused jewellery and statement pieces featuring lab-grown diamonds. The store also offers personalised consultations, private viewing services and dedicated lounge spaces.
The launch comes as India’s lab-grown diamond jewellery segment continues to attract consumer interest amid growing demand for products positioned around affordability, transparency and sustainability.
According to the company, Keemti plans to serve customers beyond metropolitan markets through an omnichannel strategy that combines physical retail, its direct-to-consumer website and online marketplaces, including Amazon.
The company said its manufacturing capabilities are supported by the Kothari Group’s existing operations serving markets across the United States, Europe and the Middle East. By leveraging its in-house manufacturing infrastructure, Keemti aims to offer lab-grown diamond jewellery with a focus on design, quality and value.
