Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) has acquired Anomaly, the global haircare brand founded by actor and entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra in 2021, in a move that expands its fast-growing beauty portfolio. The deal covers the brand’s trademarks, intellectual property, and digital assets.
Anomaly is a clean, vegan, high-performance haircare brand positioned at an accessible price point, with distribution across key markets including North America, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East.
Reliance Retail plans to grow the brand through its expansive retail network and digital commerce platforms, including Tira, with India as the priority market. Product innovation tailored to Indian hair and scalp needs will be a key focus, alongside continued expansion in international markets.
