Terra Luna appoints Abhishek Srivastava as COO

Terra Luna India, a Bengaluru-based contemporary fashion label reimagining Khadi for the modern wardrobe, has appointed Abhishek Srivastava as its Chief Operating Officer. The move signals the brand’s intention to accelerate its expansion in the accessible premium and bridge-to-luxury segment of Indian fashion.

Srivastava joins from The House of Rare, where he served most recently as Chief Brand Officer. His résumé spans some of India’s most recognised retail and e-commerce names — including The Souled Store, FirstCry, Lifestyle International, AJIO, Arvind Fashions, and Reliance Retail — giving him deep fluency across buying, planning, brand strategy, and operations.

Founded on the philosophy of conscious design, Terra Luna places handspun and handwoven Khadi at the centre of its collections. The brand draws on India’s textile heritage while working directly with artisan communities and weaving clusters, positioning craft preservation and rural livelihood creation as core business objectives alongside aesthetics.

The appointment comes as the brand looks to sharpen its operational backbone to match its design ambitions — translating its values around longevity, minimal waste, and conscious consumption into scalable retail structures. Srivastava’s track record in category management and buying and planning across both physical and digital channels is seen as well-suited to that challenge.

Terra Luna’s name draws from the balance between “Terra” — grounded and natural — and “Luna” — elevated and aspirational — a duality that extends to its positioning as a refined alternative to fast fashion. With Srivastava now at the operational helm, the brand appears primed to test whether that proposition can find meaningful scale.
