Akiki London, the contemporary handbag label under Bagzone Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd., has expanded its portfolio with a new line of structured and statement bags centred on animal-inspired textures — a category the brand says remains underexplored in the Indian market.
The collection builds on the label’s debut last year, introducing embossed croco finishes, snake-inspired textures, and leopard motifs across a range of silhouettes including satchels, hobos, totes, and box bags. The brand is positioning the line as a design-forward alternative in a segment where florals and geometric patterns have long dominated.
Among the standout pieces is the Wimbledon Large Tote, a structured carry in neutral and textured finishes, and the Hounslow Medium Box Bag, a geometric silhouette aimed at occasion dressing. The range also features a heart-shaped quilted bag — the Heartley Medium Satchel — which the brand describes as a relatively untapped design direction for the category.
Ayush Tainwala, CEO of Bagzone Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd., shared that this expansion reimagines the brand’s core offerings through a bold, trend-forward lens, introducing animal prints and statement silhouettes that inspire individuality and confident self-expression. It complements the existing range by adding more design expressions while retaining core classics, creating a well-balanced portfolio that caters seamlessly to both minimal aesthetics and statement-driven style preferences.
Functional details include adjustable straps, multi-compartment interiors, detachable pouches, and metallic or enamel accents across the twelve-piece line.
The new collection is available at select retail outlets and online, with prices starting at Rs 4,599.
