The Flipkart Group on Monday named Sharon Pais as the new head of Myntra, effective immediately, succeeding Nandita Sinha who has decided to move on from the company after over a decade with the group.
Sharon will report directly to Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy.
From 2021 to 2025, Sharon served as Chief Business Officer at Myntra, where she handled overall business performance including category management, revenue growth, marketplace operations, and new initiatives. She then moved to Flipkart in November 2025 as Senior Vice President and Head of Flipkart Fashion, before now returning to Myntra in the top role.
During her earlier stint at Myntra, Sharon contributed to shaping the company’s strategy and supported the fashion and lifestyle ecosystem through initiatives such as Myntra Rising Stars and M-Now, Myntra’s fast fashion delivery service.
Sinha Leaves on a High Note
Nandita Sinha, who took the reins at Myntra in January 2022, departs having steered the platform through one of its most financially successful phases. Under her leadership, the company expanded its international brand portfolio from 280 to over 420 brands and strengthened Myntra Beauty as one of the fastest-growing segments. Revenue grew 14.7% to Rs 5,121 crore in FY24, and the company swung from a Rs 782 crore loss in FY23 to a Rs 31 crore profit — its first ever.
Sinha joined Flipkart Group in 2013, rising quickly through the ranks to become Vice President of Customer Growth and Marketing before taking the helm at Myntra. She holds a degree in Ceramic Engineering from IIT (BHU) and an MBA from FMS Delhi, and began her career in the FMCG sector with Hindustan Unilever and Britannia Industries.
Nandita will remain with the business in an advisory capacity over the coming months to support the transition.
The Road Ahead
The timing of the leadership change is significant. Flipkart, majority-owned by Walmart, has already shifted its holding company from Singapore to India — a crucial step toward a public listing expected between late 2026 and 2027.
Separately, according to media reports, Kapil Thirani has been appointed to lead Flipkart Fashion, reporting to Sakait Chaudhary, SVP and Head of Marketplace at Flipkart, while the company begins a search for a successor for the marketplace business.
