Bershka opens first Bengaluru store at Phoenix Mall of Asia

Inditex-owned fashion brand Bershka has opened its doors in Bengaluru at Phoenix Mall of Asia, expanding the Spanish retail group’s footprint in the Indian market.

The new store spans 665.18 square metres across the Upper Ground Floor, featuring a single entrance leading into dedicated Men’s and Women’s sections. The space adopts an open ceiling concept finished in a uniform tone aligned with its fixtures and lighting, and is fronted by a 15.40-metre façade with a textured finish that carries through to the interior surfaces.

The store departs from conventional retail formats, replacing traditional cash desks with eight self-checkout stations — one of which is designed for specially abled customers. Fitting rooms and checkout stations are positioned along the natural circulation flow, a layout designed to streamline the customer journey. Perimeter and central furniture are integrated with architectural elements to balance product display with in-store navigation.

Bershka retails three product lines in the new location: BSK Teen, targeting the 10–12 age group with a digital-first, youth culture orientation; and Bershka Women and Bershka Men, aimed at a culturally engaged, trend-conscious adult audience.

The brand’s online platform, Bershka.com, runs alongside the physical store, offering the full product range with shipping at Rs 290, waived on orders above Rs 2,990 for non-discounted items, and free for all in-store pickup orders.

Bershka is also launching its MMBRS loyalty programme in India, offering 2% cashback on purchases, 4% cashback on a first App purchase, birthday gifts, early access to new releases, exclusive giveaways, and invitations to special events. Financial incentives are also available for newsletter subscribers.

With this opening, Inditex now operates 26 stores in India across its portfolio of brands, which includes Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Oysho and Zara Home.

Zara, Massimo Dutti and Bershka each maintain dedicated online platforms in the country. Inditex operates across more than 200 markets globally and has committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2040.
