Daily Compounds, a new science-first fragrance brand debuts in India

A new fragrance brand, Daily Compounds, founded by Sharvi Mehta, has entered the Indian market with a focus on transparency, scientific formulation and functional scent design.

Positioned as a science-first fragrance label, Daily Compounds aims to shift the conversation around perfumes from aspirational storytelling to ingredient clarity and measurable sensory impact. The brand emphasises formulations built on ingredients known to influence mood and cognitive states, positioning fragrance as part of a daily wellness routine rather than purely a luxury indulgence.

The brand debuts with four gender-neutral fragrances — Forest 36, Desert 31, Tropics 12 and Seaside 09 — developed in collaboration with global fragrance house IFF. The collection leverages IFF’s neuroscience-backed BrainEmotions™ programme, which studies how fragrance ingredients affect emotional responses such as alertness, relaxation, mindfulness and learning.

Daily Compounds draws on a 30-year family legacy in perfumery, combining LMR Naturals with carefully developed synthetic ingredients to prioritise safety, performance and consistency. The brand states that its formulations comply with IFRA and FDA standards, while also being vegan, sulphate-free, paraben-free and phthalate-free. Each fragrance undergoes EU-standard stability testing to ensure performance across different climates.

The fragrances are formulated with a 15–20 per cent oil concentration and are designed to work as standalone scents rather than requiring layering.

“Fragrance shouldn’t feel like a gamble,” says Sharvi Mehta, Founder. “We focus on formula, not fantasy. No fear-mongering, no exaggerated claims, just really good scents designed for everyday life. I wanted to create something that I’d be proud of wearing myself – so we spent a year meticulously crafting the scents by testing, sourcing and selecting ingredients based on logic and reason.”

Daily Compounds’ Eau de Parfums are priced at Rs 2,999 for a 100 ml bottle, positioning the brand within the accessible premium segment. The brand has also introduced a Discovery Set priced at Rs 1,999, featuring four 10 ml fragrances to allow consumers to experience the range before purchasing a full-size bottle.

With the launch, Daily Compounds joins a growing group of new-age fragrance brands in India that are experimenting with ingredient transparency, wellness-led positioning and gender-neutral scent profiles to appeal to younger consumers.
