Contemporary womenswear brand Rareism, under The House of Rare, is set to open its fourth store in Hyderabad at Gateway Mall on December 20, further strengthening its presence in one of South India’s fastest-growing fashion markets.
Spanning 1,852 sq. ft., the new store reflects Rareism’s design-led philosophy through a minimalist, clean and contemporary interior aesthetic. Crisp white walls, open sightlines and thoughtfully planned fixtures allow the brand’s colours, textures and fabrics to take centre stage, while focused lighting creates a calm, uncluttered environment that encourages customers to engage closely with each piece. The overall space delivers an elevated yet inviting retail experience aligned with the refined sensibilities of the Rareism woman.
The store will house Rareism’s Spring–Summer 2026 collections, featuring vibrant prints, sharply tailored silhouettes, fluid separates and versatile styles designed to transition seamlessly from work to evening. It will also feature the Rare Ones section, offering limited-edition kidswear for boys aged 4–14 years.
Located alongside Rare Rabbit at Gateway Mall, the new store reinforces The House of Rare’s multi-brand retail strategy, positioning the mall as a curated destination for families seeking contemporary fashion across age groups.
“Hyderabad represents a high-growth market with exceptional consumer demand, making it the ideal next step in Rareism’s South India expansion,” said Abhishek Srivastava, Chief Brand Officer, Rareism. “The incredible welcome we’ve received from Hyderabad’s fashion community made Gateway Mall the natural choice for our next outlet, its premium footfall and affluent catchment put us right where our loyal customers shop. This expansion signifies our unwavering commitment to deepening roots across South India and capturing this region’s immense potential.”
With this launch, The House of Rare now operates 46 stores nationwide, underscoring its rapid and strategic offline expansion.
Founded by Akshika Poddar, Rareism is known for its contemporary designs characterised by bold colours, unexpected textures and distinctive silhouettes. Guided by a “desk-to-dinner” philosophy, the brand offers versatile apparel suited to professional, casual and social settings, while catering to the diversity of Indian body types.
Rareism began its offline retail journey in Bengaluru in 2019.
