Purplle expands offline footprint with new store launch in Cuttack

Omnichannel beauty retailer Purplle has bolstered its offline presence with the opening of its latest store at Nayabazar, Cuttack, marking another step in its rapid expansion across key Indian markets.

The launch was announced by an official at Mavericks@Work – Purplle’s sourcing collaborator for Odhisha. Highlighting Purplle’s growth strategy, he noted that every new store reinforces the brand’s commitment to simplifying rollouts in emerging markets.

“Our journey with Purplle has just begun, and together we look forward to redefining beauty that’s truly Indian,” said Anirban Mukherjee, Co-Founder & Managing Partner-GTM, Mavericks@Work.

This opening follows a series of recent rollouts at Lulu Mall, Bengaluru; Inorbit Mall, Hubli; and Tribeca High Street, Pune, among others, as the brand accelerates its omnichannel presence.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Mumbai, Purplle has evolved into one of India’s major beauty and personal care retailers, spanning both online and offline channels.

Product Portfolio & Brands

Purplle offers a wide spectrum of cosmetics, skincare, haircare and fragrances from leading names such as Mamaearth, Lakmé, Maybelline, L’Oréal, Swiss Beauty, and The Derma Co. The retailer has also scaled several high-performing private labels, including:

  • Good Vibes – natural skincare range known for serums and gels
  • NY Bae – affordable makeup essentials
  • DermDoc – active ingredient–led skincare
  • FACES CANADA – acquired brand offering colour cosmetics and skincare
  • Carmesi – personal care products with a focus on clean formulations
