The House of Rare, the contemporary fashion collective known for its distinctive take on Indian style, has launched a new flagship store in the upscale locality of Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. This marks a key milestone in the brand’s ongoing national retail expansion strategy.
Spread across 10,500 sq. ft. and spanning four levels, the new flagship store unites all four brand verticals under one roof: Rare Rabbit (menswear), Rareism (womenswear), Rare Ones by Rare Rabbit (boyswear), and Rare’Z by Rare Rabbit (footwear and streetwear). The format aims to deliver an immersive and comprehensive shopping experience for the whole family.
The store launch follows The House of Rare’s earlier retail entry into Hyderabad via a store at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The brand also unveiled its first unified Rareism & Rare Ones store in Mumbai.
Coinciding with the launch, The House of Rare is also unveiling the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which features breezy linens, bold silhouettes, and vibrant footwear styles. Rare’Z by Rare Rabbit also debuts its first open-footwear line tailored for South Indian climates, a move reflecting the brand’s focus on regionalised design.
“Hyderabad is a city that appreciates craftsmanship, culture, and style. With the Banjara Hills store, we’re taking a significant step toward creating inclusive spaces that cater to the evolving shopping needs of the entire family. It’s more than just a shopping destination, it’s a curated fashion ecosystem and a model for the experiences we plan to bring to cities across India,” said Lavish Soni, Chief Business Officer – Retail, The House of Rare.
The store’s futuristic design further enhances the experience, featuring pristine white walls, mirrored installations, architectural curves, and elevated zoning. The interiors reflect The House of Rare’s design-forward philosophy, blending art, architecture, and fashion.
This expansion is part of the brand’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in high-potential urban centres as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. With over 170 stores operational across India and a strong e-commerce footprint, The House of Rare continues to scale with a focus on delivering premium design and curated experiences.
