Metro Brands Ltd. opens 200th Crocs store in India

Metro Brands Limited (MBL), India’s rapidly expanding footwear retailer, marked a significant achievement with the opening of its 200th Crocs store in Pondy Bazaar, Chennai, the company announced in a release on Monday

Establishing its roots in 2008, the partnership between Metro Brands Limited and Crocs India Limited has witnessed remarkable growth, captivating the hearts and feet of Indian consumers. The collaboration, initially launched within MBL’s multi-brand outlets, deepened in 2015 with a non-exclusive retail license agreement. This agreement granted MBL the exclusive right to distribute Crocs products in India, aligning seamlessly with Metro Brands’ mission of bringing global brands to the Indian market, the release added.

The inaugural exclusive Crocs store opened its doors in 2015 in Lucknow, and today, the 200th store stands at Pondy Bazaar, Chennai, a bustling retail hub.
