Jordan Doppagne appointed CEO at Celio India

Fashion retailer Celio has appointed Jordan Doppagne as Chief Executive Officer for its India business, reinforcing the brand’s focus on growth, operational excellence, and retail transformation in one of its most strategic markets.

A retail transformation executive with extensive international experience, Doppagne specializes in scaling, restructuring, and optimizing large retail networks across complex and fast-moving markets. His leadership approach is rooted in balancing financial performance, operational execution, and people development, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and disciplined implementation at the store level.

“Today, I step into the role of CEO of Celio India — not as a title, but as a responsibility. India is far more than a growth market; it is a dynamic and demanding retail environment that constantly challenges us to rethink, adapt, and execute better every day. Our focus is clear: elevate the in-store experience, improve product availability where it matters most, build a sharper and more disciplined retail network, and strengthen our data backbone to make faster, better decisions. Execution will be everything, and what gives me confidence is not only the strategy, but the people behind it,” Doppagne said in his LinkedIn post where he announced the appointment.

Prior to his elevation, Doppagne served as Head of Retail Transformation and Managing Director at Celio, where he led large-scale modernization initiatives and business expansion strategies. Throughout his career, he has successfully driven transformation programs across diverse geographies, adapting retail models to local market realities while preserving brand integrity, profitability, and long-term scalability.

Before joining Celio, he held leadership positions at Ralph Lauren, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), and Abercrombie & Fitch Co., building deep expertise in retail operations, commercial leadership, multi-site management, sales performance, and customer-centric business transformation.

Known for his pragmatic leadership style, Doppagne believes sustainable transformation is built through clarity of direction, accountability, aligned teams, and consistent execution. In his new role, he will lead Celio India’s next phase of growth and strengthen the brand’s position in the country’s evolving fashion retail landscape.
